Disneyland was opened in 1955 under the direction of Walt Disney himself.  Since its opening, it has been growing yearly with new attractions opening regularly, and now coners some 85 acres, and includes such attractions as Main Street, USA, New Orleans Square, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and Mickeys Toontown.
